Because I forgot to leave a tip in the room on the first day of my stay, there was one pillow missing from the bed when I came back at night, and they didn't even give me a bath towel. This hotel is terrible.

I booked for a friend. She had a cat and wanted ro be close to downtown without the expence. But, I was so embarrassed. This place is a dump! The halls were dirty and smelled bad. The room smelled even worse. I do not have one possitive thing to say about this place.

This place is really bad. Where do I begin. Sewage-like smell in the main lobby, rotten fruit at breakfast, no towels or trash can in my room, extremely loud slamming doors, no comforter on bed. I could keep going. Lakewood is cool, this hotel is not.

As soon as we walked in we couldn’t stay because it smelled of marijuana & urine. The lobby pictured on website is NO WHERE NEAR the actual lobby so that’s fraudulent. It was dirty, dark and filled with trash bags. The clerk was rude & apparently high since she barely could speak & when we needed cancellation proof for travel insurance refund she couldn’t accommodate so Expedia rep tried calling her and she picked up phone & hung it up 3 times in a row so Expedia had to email her. We saw rats in the parking lot going under the & the whole parking lot was dirty with garbage. I can’t even imagine anyone except a drug dealer or a “working” girl even staying there.

I was unimpressed with this hotel for one major reason. That reason was I went to the Cleveland Clinic for a doctor's appointment and missed my bus because the Uber mobile app malfunctioned. I only went to this hotel because it was the cheapest and cloest to my doctor's appointment. When I got to this hotel, they refused to give me the room on the sole reason I did not have an actual physical card in my possession. But I did have the virtual card on my phone and this hotel chain refused to give me a room. I would of went somewhere else if it was stated anywhere on the Expedia app, now I am out roughly $65.00 and had to stay in a homeless shelter for the night because this hotel chain would not honor or give me a room because I did not have the physical card. Also I would like to add, the card was in my name and I am an authorized user of her credit. The only reason why I have it is because it builds my credit, builds my mother's credit, and it is there in case of an emergency. This was an unexpected accomodation and I hope this review/critique helps the next person out who may be in the same situation I was in. Thanks for your time to review my post. I got what I paid for and I paid very little. Two lamps in my room, but only one had a lightbulb. No garbage can in the room. The shower didn't have a light. A guy shuttling things in a shopping cart in and out of the parking lot for an hour at night.

No lights in my room. The sheets were HEAVILY stained. The bathtub was disgusting. Lobby smells like a cigarette factory, hallways smell like cat urine and fabuloso. I left after 10 minutes. The staff was great though. But Do not waste your time or money.
