Property is very run down and dirty. There was black mold in our bathroom and furniture is beat up. Doors to rooms also dont close well Also the airport shuttle forgot about us even though we booked it ahead of time. Only good thing was the staff were quite friendly

My room did not have a working television, the sink leaked, extremely slow drain for the tub. No hand soap only shampoo, no clock or phone. We were given another room and the tv had a green hue on every channel, no shower soap. I deserve some reimbursement

Check in was at 3pm… got in my room at 9:45pm. Short staffed… no clean rooms. The room had several things not working… no breakfast buffet as advertised…. The pool was not open… on my way to my room linens lying out in the hallway. It was a disaster!!

The first room had a bathtub that didn't drain. Was moved to another room, bathtub drained but real slow. Ice machine didn't work on the 5th floor. Ask at the reception if shuttle could take us to the Oktoberfest and pick us up later. Was told they can only drop off. However, breakfast was great.

I had a reservation for 2 nights. Upon arrival at 7:00 pm there were no clean rooms available. There were a lot of angry people waiting in the lobby for their rooms also. I finally got a room at 9:00 pm. The halls had dirty bedding & towels laying in piles on the floor which were still there in the am. The parking area was a bit of a walk in the dark, with no security. There was only one garbage basket in my room, without a plastic bag, in the bathroom, along with one box of kleenex, also in the bathroom. Also, not a single box of kleenex in the lobby. Getting into a room at 9 pm is unacceptable. They should have offered something to make up for it.

First of all we did not get the room that we reserved. The only rooms that were available were king size beds which we did not have a reservation for. When we got to our room I looked down the hall and there was dirty linen all the way down the hall and made it look like a flop house. Our night bolt was broken on our door. From what I understand there were staffing problems which I can totally relate to however would probably never book at a Crown again.

This was one of the most disappointing stays I've had in years! Everything about the property exuded an air of neglect & an "I don't care" attitude. Here's a partial listing of issues: 1 - Broken elevator 2 - Bed made in a sloppy manner & with missing sheet 3 - Belligerant attitude from one of the desk clerks 4 - Bundles of dirty bedding & a large trash receptical in the hall of the floor on which we stayed.

When we arrived at 8pm, our room wasn't ready. The receptionist didn't know when a room would be ready. The elevators were also broken. The property looked run down and dirty. We cancelled our reservation, not wanting to wait an unknown time to finally get a room.

Very pretty hotel. I chose because of the pictures and the fact it had a bar, pool, breakfast, and dinner options. The elevators were out of service the entire stay; I was on the 3rd floor; I had a knee replacement and use a cane with stairs. I got to the hotel at 4pm a room was not available until 8:30pm. The toilet paper had a little paper on it ran out in the middle of the night they would not answer from the phone had to go down to the front desk to get toilet paper from the 3rd floor. Every bottle of soap shampoo whatever was bone dry empty on the bathroom walls and they never came to clean the room or bring fresh towels and I checked in Friday and checked out Monday. The comforter had blood specks at the foot; someone lazy put it at the foot where you wouldn’t notice it I’m sure. The pool was never opened the entire stay. I was deeply disappointed and feel like they owe me something. It was a terrible situation that I just had to deal with because the area was booked with so many activities. I hope they do better and this is not their norm because guest like me from 6 hours away had to endure.

The staff helping us with the situation was great. But we were there for a concert tried to check in at 3 the elevator was broken, one housekeeper I think quit and the other housekeeper was climbing all the stairs to get to rooms. Came back from concert around 12:45 stood in line till 1:30 and decided to leave and drive back. The elevator was still not fixed and still did not have a room they were telling us we would have to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to the room. After we were just at a concert. I have asked for a refund and still have not gotten it and I still have not got my $50 that was on hold for my card.

Had a reservation for months. Prepaid. Hotel oversold rooms by tens, if not hundreds. Attempted to check in at 4:00pm and was told I would receive a call around 6:00pm when room was ready. Went to concert my daughter and I drove five hours for, came back to hotel to get room keys, but was told we did not have a room. This not only happened to me. It happened to at least 10 people attempting to check in in front of me and at least that many behind me. Young staff person at the desk would not say anything except the “rooms were locked” and there was nothing he could do. I know IHG properties are cheap and you get what you pay for but, in this event, me and and whole bunch of people didn’t even get that.

Reservation not honored r/t staffing issues. Elevators not working, limited bathrooms in lobby, ac not working. Hotel under major construction. This hotel and staff left me and several other guests stranded after a concert in downtown Cleveland.

This was the worst hotel experience ive ever had. It was about a 2 hr wait to check in because no housekeeping showed up. We had to get ready in thw gym area downstairs. Bathrooms were out of order. Pool was closed. Ice machines were broken. And there was only 1 person workong with every room booked. 10/10 would not recommend or will not be back
