「The room unfortunately smelled like my grandma’s dirt cellar. It is outdated but we figured that. We requested first floor which they said they didn’t have with the booking but after they saw my repeat it was changed. Our friend had similar issues but they just took the king instead of the double queen they purchased.」

「The motel was in a lovely rural setting. It was clean and well maintained. However, there were no cups of any kind...plastic or glass. There was no one to talk to about this because there was no staff on the premises to our knowledge. The tub, while clean, could use some updating and maintenance.」

「When I arrived the key would not work, once I got a new one I walked in and the walls in the bathroom were not painted,the wallpaper had been removed. There were holes in the wall. A can of roach killer spray was outside the office door. I stayed for 10 minutes and returned my key and went home. I'll never recommend this motel at all. Please don't go. I was afraid of getting bed bugs or having roaches all over me.」

「The place is charming with high ceilings and big windows, and we even had a fireplace in the room. I am not sure if it works or if we were allowed to use it. it was summer anyway. However, there was no microwave in the room or the hotel as a whole, and there was no ice machine, the kind of things that you would need at a hotel. The hotel had a parking lot in the back, which is a great amenity when the hotel is in a kind of a busy area (not to say that anywhere in Clinton, MI is busy!)...
