「Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

「It was a beautiful setting it had fantastic potential but here’s a list of the faults. Self check in system (room door unlocked key in room) another guest had checked into room we had booked. The room had a different number on the door to what it was (there was a number one on the door frame number 2 on the door) We had booked a ensuite bathroom but on the first night only had access to a shared bathroom with no hot water, no toilet paper (had to search the house to find it), blocked sink. 「Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. We will definately return to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage, that is for sure! Derek Hanley, and family Dublin.」
