「What a lovely room! We stayed in the Hill room with a garden view. The home was beautifully appointed. We enjoyed a great night sleep, and then breakfast in the dining room. A walk around the property was the perfect ending. Sorry we didn't get the chance to dine here, but Matthew had great recommendations for us.」

「The property was nice but felt like any little “extra” came at a cost. Hot Tub? You had to pay per person for 30 minutes. Have not seen that before. No laundry facilities as advertised and cake in drawing room was added to invoice on check out. Nice property but be aware of extras. 」

「Great B&B . Everything we needed for an overnight stay in Oban before heading to the ferry to Mull .Very convenient and good fitness waking up the hill to the property . Taxi if not inclined to walk up hills . Really nice touch to have the breakfast cereals , juice and yogurt . Thank you .」

「The room was the best we had on our trip. It had shampoo, conditioner, soap in both the sink area and the shower. There was cold water and milk in the refrigerator and coffee/ tea. There was also a heated towel rack and great big towels. They also provided a shower cap. It was large enough that you could both move around the room. Highly recommend」

「We are now back at home after our trip. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the Whisky Vaults but the most positive thing was that the bed was comfortable. 1. Staying for 2 days but the room was not serviced. 2. Breakfast, in a brown bag appeared on the first day only. 3. Thanks to Connor, who took an item of luggage upstairs. There was no lift and the back stairs were a challenge to my wife who is waiting for an ankle operation. 4. I would not be in a hurry to recommend the Whisky...

「The room was clean. The bathroom has been renovated with good shower pressure. However, the beds were quite uncomfortable. Note that there is no elevator on the premises - not a big deal for us but that may not be the case for everyone. Lastly, the breakfast is overpriced. I would probably go out if I were to return. At 15 pounds each, that converts to just under $30 can. Even in overpriced Toronto, that’s expensive.」

「The hotel is functional, a bit dated looking from the outside, better inside but the shower in our room was not fit for purpose. Decent food but the menu is very limited. Parking is virtually non existent but the street parking is free after 6pm until 9am.」

「Large central hotel with limited parking, excellent breakfast. The Hotel in general looks tired and a bit frayed at the edges. The room was clean, though the door rattled a bit, which we solved by propping a heavy bag against it. The room was very warm even with the radiator off.」

We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. It’s obvious that a lot of careful thought has been put into making this B&B a wonderful place. 」

「The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. 」
