「Our host Paolo was extremely helpful from before we arrived to even after we left. An invaluable local contact on top of a wonderful, clean room with an amazing balcony where you can have breakfast and coffee. The cleaner Giovanna also cleaned our room everyday. The room is well isolated from the noise outside but sometimes a little noisy in the morning for noise from the breakfast area but this is only a problem for light sleepers. Overall an amazing stay and we will be back!」

「Really recommend! Valeria is super helpful and respondent!」

「Very convenient」

「Palazzo Achates was perfect for us! It is in the center of old town on a quiet street and has been fully renovated with a beautiful modern minimalist design. I booked the last room available which, was described as small, but it was actually quite roomy and lovely. The owner answered all requests promptly and was wonderfully welcoming! He made us feel assured that the keycard entry to the hotel itself would work smoothly at any hour of the night, and it did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!」

「Very easy to find, and close enough for a short walk from the train station. very clean room and very comfortable bed. A great variety of breakfast options including several freshly baked items. Mariella was very quick and responsive to any questions I had. I would stay again if I am in Palermo.」

「good location and good service attitude. staff is very helpful」

「Lovely pool - great location - clean」

「Apart from the great view during breakfast and the warm, enthusiastic front desk staff, this guesthouse is utterly disappointing and highly not recommended. I have never been to a place that doesn't offer eggs for breakfast. The only food available was unpalatable cakes, very hard bread, chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and some peaches that were nearly rotten. The soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can clearly hear someone sneezing in the room on the floor below, and at around 2:00...

「this is the nicest hotel i have ever stayed at. the interiors and materials are beautiful. the staff was very nice and super helpful. I would visit Palermo again just stay at this hotel again.」

「Place is beautfiul an right next to restaurants and maqueda street. Its beautiful and clean. Host is responsive and considerate with our late arrival. Down the street next to souvenir shops as well. Close to all tourist locations that are walkable.」

「Good environment, good location and good host;) 」

「Our stay at Palazzo del Poeta was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. This is truly a five-star boutique hotel where elegance, comfort, history, and exceptional hospitality come together beautifully. Our room was elegant, beautifully appointed, and equipped with every comfort. We especially loved the thoughtful details, including excellent coffee and tea and beautifully decorated Sicilian cookies—a lovely personal touch. The exclusive lounge and dining area, with access to the...

「Beautiful and clean room with everything you need (espresso machines, cooking utensils). Clear checkin instruction and communication from the host. A bit noisy as it’s on the main street but easily solved with earplugs. 」

「Fantastic location for restaurants and tourism! This place has a lot of space and was very clean. If we travel to Palermo this is where we want to stay.」

「This was a last minute booking and it was difficult to find. You have to go in through this tiny door that opens up into a common area and then up stairs to find the reception desk. Also, they are not there all the time. We had to tell them precisely what time we were arriving so they would be at the desk. The room was clean and nice and it was a great neighborhood.」
