Big negatives with some positives. The room was great. There was no permanent reception and what was offered was efficient and friendly, but for us, the serviced apartments were not special enough for the cost. Breakfast was outsourced to a local cafe. The staff were nice but the standard was way below what I would expect from such an offering. And for 5 nights/5 breakfasts, no thanks. Worst - the room sound proofing was entirely insufficient for the local street performers’ aggressive sound systems. For this alone, we would never stay again. Room 202 had a great view but the racket was at times completely preposterous. We cranked up YouTube on the TV to try and block it out. We failed. May suit others.

Upgraded our room on arrival. Room was large, well appointed. Had 3 balconies with fantastic view of theatre. Only complaint is they have many tall beautiful windows, but no blackout curtains. It was like daylight in our room with all the street lights. They allowed us to checkout late to accommodate our afternoon flight. Breakfast was very hectic. It was at a small cafe nearby that was totally crowded. There were no tables to sit at, difficult to order as no one spoke English. I think you only get croissant and coffee. Taxis cannot come direct there so you will have to walk a little.

What a great place to stay friendly staff , they set up a great ride from the airport , the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in, location perfect so many food destinations around & the staff texted us a list of the best oh and the restaurant on the fourth floor was amazing , so many attractions all within walking distance.

Unforgettable Luxury and Hospitality at Palazzo So

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staying at Palazzo Sovrana was an absolute highlight of my time in Palermo! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The building itself is stunning—an elegant blend of historic charm and modern comfort, right in the heart of the city. The apartments are beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches that make it feel like a true home away from home. The views of Teatro Massimo and the city from the terraces are simply unforgettable, especially at sunset. The location could not be better—walking distance to the best restaurants, markets, and cultural sites, yet quiet and relaxing when you return at the end of the day. Every recommendation from the hosts was spot on, making it easy to experience the best of Palermo like a local. I can’t recommend Palazzo Sovrana enough—it’s the perfect place to stay for anyone who wants a luxurious, authentic, and memorable Sicilian experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

A trip that shall be long remembered

The location cannot be better. The room was very comfortable with a nice lateral scenery of Teatro Massimo. The 2 balconies doors are 100% noise free. But we were surprised, and I blame Hotels.com and not the hotel for not highlighting that: 1-The hotel has no lobby or any sitting areas. Much needed when partners have different morning sleeping patterns. 2-No 24hr reception but compensated by an all time whatsapp communication and valued guidance. 3-No concierge. 4-And no in-house breakfast resto. We were offered B/F at an adjascent street-cafe. A low-cost basic B/F whereby fried eggs is a payable extra!!! . Not matching at all with the fares we paid. The rooftop dinner resto is a top recommendation. A bit expensive but worth it.

Perfect location and better value

What a perfect location at an amazing price and value. The room had plenty of room and was exactly what we needed after a long days road trip. Would definitely stay here again! Soo many good restaurants close by.

Great spot - very close to everything in the old town, spacious, and quiet in the rooms. The staff was a little obnoxious during check in - messaging me several times a day to ask the exact time I was getting in despite me telling them over and over again that I didn't know an exact time. I would've appreciated more flexibility here, as it made traveling feel stressful and I had already told them that I didn't know an exact time. Room could have used an iron and a bigger space to put away my luggage and items. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and nice.
