Dear Sin Yi Thank you for your review. As you are aware on Sunday 23rd January, power supply to the resort was interrupted by the collapse of an overhead power line cable outside the resort. This resulted in the damage to, and subsequent loss of, essential operating systems at the property, including electrical, water and telecommunication systems. While our resort can deal seamlessly with power outages that occur from time to time in Phuket, the incident caused serious damage to the essential services mentioned above. Given the unfortunate incident, we took the necessary steps to relocate all in-house and arriving guests to neighboring hotels in the Laguna area. While it was very much our hope that we would be able to re-open the resort quickly, it became apparent after inspecting the damaged systems that the resort would in fact need to remain closed until October 1st. Thank you for your kind understanding and patience during this incident which was very much outside of our control. We hope to welcome you once again when you are next travelling to Thailand.
