"If you're looking for an onsen experience this is the place! We were welcomed as we drove up the windy mountain road to the hotel. The check in experience was calm and efficient. Dinner, breakfast and private bath times chosen. The baths are wonderfull, overlooking the river and with views down the forested valley. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, although our kids sadly didn't feel adventurous enough. It was a truly magical experience on our first trip to Japan."

"The room was very clean and well-organized. Didn't have our room cleaned daily but did get daily towel change, which was very easily arranged. The onsen was great...quiet, clean, rarely crowded with both an indoor and outdoor tub."
