「Property was perfect for us. We needed somewhere close to the hospital for an early morning op and it was perfect. Saved a taxi fare by being able to walk. Recommended. 」

「Fair pricing...was allocated room 10 which is way up..room was a bit hot...a fan would be appreciated otherwise our stay was up to standards considering the money we also paid. Very clean room」

「Was a leak in the room so had to leave, when first arrived got out into the wrong room, cups weren't clean no sheets on the bed or duvet, DO NOT STAY HERE 」

「A decent bed for the night, with on suite toilet (no toilet paper though). Decent shared kitchen to use if required, and a quite area at night. Overall, I'll book with Darwin Guest house again.」

「On arrival no staff just a pin number sent to access room. On entering i sat on mattress and nearly fell through as its so thin and missing so many springs plus springs went straight into bottom. The tiny light on wall had no bulb in and was rusty and dirty. Room was dirty no wonder it was £30 for a night」

「Good value. Building needs maintenance- we had to help other guests get into their rooms where doors were broken and door locks were sticking. Location fab for Portswood and easy to find parking on a Saturday night .」

「Parked at Sainsbury's using JustPark then five mins walk to accom. Easy to find and was on top floor in the roof conversation. VERY warm night and almost slept outside instead. Couple fans would have been great. Bed was comfy. Shared shower and kitchen spaces with the other residents 」

「This property was not as described, the room had nothing but a bed and some cupboards it’s the most basic living space you can imagine. There were some unsavoury characters staying there as felt unsafe.」

「Poor maintenance , yard unmaintained , mix of rotten fruits and other trash welcomes guests upon reaching gate . Front gate doesn’t latch and people can just go around the back and enter the property . Unused furnitures and junks piled up inside property from the front door , laundry room piled up with used comforters . Our room drawers still has items from previous occupants , presence of large amount of orangey powder inside drawers , free- standing cabinet not a single hanger , only 1 towel...
