"First of all Donna at check in was wonderful! When you walked in the lobby was clean smelled good and Donna was awesome. When we got to the room that was another story. It really wasn’t clean. It was disappointing to say the least. Also my message to the hotel still hasn’t been returned."

"The staff was great about figuring out getting us moved, when one of the two rooms we were in had a lot of human hair in the sheets of one bed. It was gross! It was hard for the staff to move us based solely on reserving 2 rooms on hotels.com. We reserved 2 rooms for 4 adults, and 2 kids. (parents with 2 adult children and 2 teens) They only had a few rooms available, but the system would not let them move one room to a king size bed that was available because, we had "too many people". They moved us to a smaller 2 bed room, and it worked fine. The rooms are dated, worn furniture (a dresser draw that kept opening) yucky ceilings, etc. We chose this hotel because it had the highest stars in the area, even though it cost more than anywhere else, but it wasn't a higher quality hotel. The breakfast was ok, waffles, oatmeal, and fruit. The sausage gravy was watery. All the staff we interacted with were very nice, and friendly."

"Staff was very nice. However, the room we had is had a huge stain on the floor and the bed had either bed bug poop or another type of insect poop. The pool wasn't filtered properly so it had a ton of hair and dirt in the water. The hot tub has a film all the way around it and the foam was so thick you couldn't see the water. We ended up leaving afraid of getting bed bugs."

"I stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling to Myrtle Beach. Within a few days, I developed multiple clusters of bites on my arms and ear. The reaction became severe enough that I had to visit a doctor, who felt the bites were consistent with bed bug bites. What should have been a relaxing family vacation has instead involved medication, discomfort, and constant worry about whether I may have brought something home with me. I hope management takes this seriously and thoroughly inspects the room. I would encourage future guests to carefully check their room and bedding upon arrival."
