The location was good, love Chicago's Westside. Didn't like the limitation on towels, we didn't have the room serviced by housekeeping everyday, (our choice) but w/three of us in the suite we needed more than what was initially provided. Our multiple request for towels was ignored over a 24 hour period, then was told only two towels are permitted, the staff capitulated eventually. I was unaware of the additional charge for amenities until check in, we paid for gym and pool and didn't use it. The $900 temporary charge to the card was also a surprise but it has since been refunded. On check out was called by something other than my name then questioned again when I corrected my identify, the response: Mrs. Lee is not your name? Some confusion on my identity, never did get my receipt by email. Also, asked for the late check out, when called at 11:00 a.m. by the front desk I reminded them we asked for a noon check out, the response, "oh yes, I'm just seeing the note the lady made now". Not the sharpest in terms of service but that clearly is not their vibe or intention. I found myself wishing I booked a hotel instead.
