"Clean small apartment - walkable to a bustling part of the city. Shinjuku is an exciting area and just outside of the east station exit is a bit like vegas-meets-NY. I knew the area was active but I did not realize this apartment was smack in the middle of the night life (host bars, love hotels, etc) part of town. If that sounds like fun to you, this is a great deal. If you're looking for a family-friendly place to stay, this might not be the right move.

"This is a very small (even for Tokyo standards) unit, and you have no elevators in the building. That said, you can walk to Shinjuku and the place was very clean, with its own washer/drier and great beds. Sure, it's small, but the location makes it a great choice. I'd definitely recommend the place and would have given it a 5 star rating if it had a smart Japanese toilet ;) !"

"Clean room and could easily accommodate for our family of 4. Close to the food areas as well as convenience stores without being in a high traffic area. "

"Great location, park across the road is great for kids to get some energy out. Lots of restaurants & amenity close by and only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Shinjuku.
The rooms are a bit tired (marks on the walls, the duvet covers donโt fit properly and you can see that the bedding under is very yellowed, pillows not great.
There is no reception at the property, which was fine for us."

"This place was amazing! The directions to get to it were so well thought out by the host, we were initially worried, but the host made it so easy! The place is in a great location. Very clean, safe, and close to the metro. I am so glad I booked this place and would recommend it to anyone! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here in Tokyo. The instructions were very clear, and having everything labeled especially for trash made things so much easier compared to other places weโve stayed. It really helped us stay organized and made the whole experience more convenient.
The location was also great very walkable and in a peaceful neighborhood, which we really appreciated after busy days exploring the city.
Overall, it was a great experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely...

"The breakfast food was excellent, but the line to get in was terrible. Way too many people squeezing into a single entrance.
The check in process was incredibly inefficient. It took 8 minutes per guest to check in"
Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport - Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3
8/10 Good
"It had great access to airport and that was very convenient especially with after long flight with two little kids. Also they have 24 hours convenience store on the main floor which was super helpful to get food any time we wanted for good price. Only thing is it was bit hard to find the way after exit of arrival and little bit of walk so just be mindful of that."
"Hotel had lots of food options which was nice. There isnโt ac, it is just one of those small humidifier machines. The rooms are very damp and musty; quite warm at night."
"This is my second stay at this hotel and I continue to recommend it. It is within walking distance to several subway stations, so no matter where you are going, it is just a short walk from the hotel. And, the more I explore the immediate area around the hotel, the more I discover great restaurants and stores. We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast nearly every day. It has something for everyone. The room was clean and comfortable.
If I had one thing to complain about, it is with the clothes dryers in the hotel laundromat. The washer took 30 minutes, but the dryers took 90 and some clothes were still damp, but because others were waiting, we settled with that."
"Location was really good for us first timers in Japan. Shinjuku is a city that never sleeps. I'm glad that we can't hear the noise from the outside from the 14th floor but the ventilation is horrendous. They have centralized air-conditioning which I never really felt during our stay. Not a single cold air on my skin, so had to go to bed sometimes covered in sweat because of the heat. Sometimes, it's cooler when you step outside the room, I even joked about maybe just sleeping on the hallway to get some good sleep. Other than that, everything else is actually okay. The rooms are tiny so packing up everything you bought will be a struggle but you'll work your way around it."
