「The Sand Bar Cottage is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor! Arrive, unload, and stay parked while you walk and enjoy all that Bar Harbor & Acadia has to offer. Not worrying over finding parking was the greatest perk, but the entire property was beautiful with blooming flowers and the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. Our cottage was absolutely perfect. 」

「This was a perfect place to explore, without the hubbub of being downtown. Every person who works here has a smiling face, the woman even called me to make sure I was ok because I hadn’t checked in by 7:45 PM (though the check-in is open till 10 PM). 「The location of the property is perfect! Just one block from the main strip so you are extremely close to all the food and shopping. The house is beautiful and the main areas are well furnished. The property is very clean. I ate way too many of the cookies which are left out daily- so delicious! My room was on the third floor (attic level). I loved having the space of a suite. My only issue was with the bathroom. Because the room is built in the roof line, the ceilings are low in the bathroom....

「Elsa's Inn is a lovey spot for quiet scenic stays - the bed and pillows were lush and the rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assit me with a small issue. I will return whenever I am in the area. 」
