We really enjoyed our stay at the Coachhouse Stop Inn. We were looking for a quiet place where we could relax and this was it. Amanda and Derrick were the perfect hosts. It was obvious they really love being inn hosts.

Our stay at the Coach Stop Inn was a highlight of our trip. Derrick and Amanda are wonderful hosts and genuinely nice people. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious and used local Maine produce. The location was central to all the sites we wanted to visit like Acadia and Bar Harbor.You can tell that Derrick and Amanda put in the extra effort for their guests.

Coach Stop Inn is the perfect place to stay for your visit to Acadia. It is conveniently located near the park and Bar Harbor. Our room was lovely and our hosts, Derrick & Amanda, were very attentive. Amanda creates mouth watering breakfasts! And they both go out of their way to accommodate whatever you need for any activities. Their approach to serving their guests is unbeatable. You will really enjoy your stay.

Amanda and Derrick were fabulous hosts and thought of everything. Bed was extremely comfortable. And they confirmed all beds were the same quality. Breakfast was served 8-9a and was very good. It’s about 5 miles outside bar harbor. It was nice to be outside the busyness. Very close to Acadia park. Highly recommend

Amazing Bar Harbor Stay

This is an amazing B&B - very commutative owners (who gave us wonderful food recommendations), the breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean with great amenities and when we checked in there was a little baked treat for us. We will definitely stay here again - it was perfect for a little romantic getaway.

The property is a historical bed and breakfast. It was a nice stay—little less efficient for bathroom plugs/mirrors/etc., only because it is “historic” in nature. That wouldn’t keep us from returning. It was lovely and the hospitality of the owners is enough to bring anyone back! They go above and beyond. The food is amazing! Our room was like a suite with a bedroom/living room/bathroom, so plenty of private restful areas, in addition to shared living and dining space as well. Stars were gorgeous outside in sitting areas too. Just a great stay and we enjoyed it.

Wonderful place; great atmosphere. Lovely accommodations. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Bar Harbor. Location was great for us because we like quiet but still close enough for us to get to Acadia and town. And to top of off, our hosts Anna and Jim gave us great information and the breakfasts were just outstanding.
