「If you are traveling to Southold, this is a very good choice. The property is nice and the staff extremely friendly. The room is satisfactory but I could not believe how strong it smelled of either air freshener or a febreeze type odor. I had a horrible headache the first night. Left windows and screen door open for the first 24 hours. Regardless, once the room properly aired out, everything else was fine.」

「We liked the property and enjoyed our stay! Great location, helpful staff, and very clean. The room and bathroom have been renovated nicely. Because the property is converted from an old house so the room was smallish, and we were on the third floor so there are stairs to climb, which may be an issue for some folks.」

「This is our third time staying at the Southhampton Inn. The facilities (pool, beach shuttle, etc.) are great and the Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a great location and with an easy walk into town. The only complaint was the room/hallway smelled slightly musty. I know it is difficult keeping everything dry at the beach so that is not uncommon. Overall had a great time and hope to stay there again soon.」
