"We stayed here on two occasions, each time for one night. I was shocked at reception each time - not a single smile and I felt to be an inconvenience. In fact on the first occasion the receptionist served everyone else before me, even breaking off my check-in to serve someone else. I was handed the key and had no idea where to go - eventually I was pointed in a vague direction. It does not matter that no English is spoken - a smile goes a long way. On the first occasion I do go to the bar and the attendant there was lovely. Also no English but we got along fine with my Portuguese and A translation app. We had dinner at the hotel which was not very good. The best thing about the place is the chandelier in a huge hall that is basically unused!"

"A decade of excellence, though rooms could use a refresh I have been staying at the Delmond for over ten years, and the service remains consistently excellent. The staff is wonderful, the valet service is seamless, and the overall experience is always high-quality. Room is clean and nice. The amenities here are great—the restaurant and breakfast are both highlights of the stay, and I always enjoy the gym and the nice pool area. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable; however, they are starting to feel a bit dated after all these years. While everything is well-maintained, a modern refresh would really bring the guest rooms up to the high standard of the rest of the hotel. Still my go-to choice after a decade!"

"Quarto bom. Equipe nada gentil no check-in. A atendente desatenciosa, semmprwssa nenhuma, lenta, morosa, e so tinha uma pessoa na minhanfrente, que demorou meia hora no atendimento. Eu cheguei por volta das 2h. Cansado, com sono."

"Great location! Very easy to get around. WiFi and AC worked like a dream. The downside is I had a staff member knocking on my door and trying the door knob at 1am on 2 different nights. The second time it happened they were able to get in because I didn’t lock the door properly. Unless there’s an emergency like a fire or something you should not be waking your guests up in the middle of the night. It doesn’t help that I don’t speak Portuguese well so when she did come in I was unable to understand what she wanted although I think it might’ve had something to do with the sheets. Idk. I almost booked somewhere else the first time it happened since it was my second night there. Glad I stayed though because like I said the location is fantastic. "

"Hotel in the central area of Cuiabá, with a good location. However, the property is in urgent need of some improvements and renovation. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is outdated and worn. The common areas are a bit aged and could benefit from a more modern design. Breakfast is good, but I missed having more healthy and light options. The staff was friendly and helpful. "
