「Friendly and helpful hotel staff. No comment on facilities, did not get a chance to use it. Room is clean and tidy. Location is a bit closer to caulfield station.」

「I’m not really sure what to say or where to start. I almost decided to sleep in my car. The people were friendly and sociable (aside from the host taking my phone off airplane mode when I asked for the wifi password; $20, kaching, for roaming!) but the home… hygiene was an issue from the kitchen to bathroom (bring your own toilet paper), the bedsheet was laid down, not big enough to be tucked, mosquitoes in the room all night, even a closed (?) door could not keep out the pot smell from the...

「Near the beach, lots of restaurants nearby. Had a great time there!」

「The staff were friendly and helpful, but the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel fall short of what you’d expect at this price point. I found the bedsheet dirty with several yellow marks (possibly from an iron), and the duvet had noticeable red stains resembling blood. These made the room feel unhygienic. The basement games area was also poorly maintained. The pool table was missing the black ball, and only one pool cue was usable, the rest were broken. To make matters worse,...

「This was my second stay and apart from the great location so close to the city, this is one of the quietest Hotels or Apartments I’ve ever stayed. The apartments aren’t brand new, but they are spacious and very comfortable. Reception is not always manned, so just make sure you message them to arrange check in.」

「Receptionists were not very friendly, but the apartment was good in all equipments and clean. The tram station is just 3mins walk distance. If you just travel with partner, it’s a good choice to stay here.」

「We always stay at The Motley when visiting Melbourne CBD for the night. Fantastic location, excellent facilities and great staff. We will be back」

「There were no slippers provided as stated in room description, although we requested for it the next day, the hotel did not even have a pair of slipper available, which was a bit disappointing. A bit of construction work is in progress outside of our terrace room. Overall the hotel is new and beautiful, the staff also welcomed us with a a bottle of wine and dessert for our honeymoon celebration.」

「The location is good. 10 min to city centre. A quiet location with nice restaurants aound. People at reception are nice. Deluxe room not so deluce. Housekeeping not so good. Air conditioner full of dust. Bathing soap not refilled until asked. Room only vacuumed every 2 days on requests. Housekeeping off early and once they forgot to clean the room,we need to throw rubbish ourselves.」

「Good budget place. Perfectly fine for what it claims to be and what it is.」

「非常乾淨每日樽裝水任攞，房間夠大花灑夠熱，冇缺點！」

「Breakfast is not good but the location is good for shopping」
