「Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. We were most impressed by the staff; all of whom were very friendly, professional...

「The internet connection is unstable. Other than that, it’s great place to stay. Friendly and competent staff. Clean room. Great bar. The hotel is within talking distance to the Lancaster train station (ca. 13-15 min) and local bus stops (ca. 5 min.)」

The lady at reception (didn’t get her name but she worked 1st Nov) ran around the hotel to sort out the room for me straight away. Room was super clean, quiet and stylish. 「I stayed overnight at The Pheasant Inn with my partner. I can only describe my experience as above expectations, The whole hotel is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, polite and the restaurant was fantastic. Generally speaking I tend to book what's available on the booking platforms but having found this gem, will actively search for availability at The Pheasant Inn before trying anywhere else.」

「The accommodation was very spacious and had everything we needed, eg tea, coffee and milk provided. Bathroom was well equipped with a lovely big shower. The master room was massive and decorated nicely. Overall a great place to stay and in a perfect location as you’re in walking distance to shops, pubs, restaurants and also easy to travel elsewhere via car.」
