"The property was very well located. It was a short walk to restaurants, shops and public transportation. Check-in was virtual, easy and convenient. The property manager checked with us shortly after arriving to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Highly recommend. "
"For the last night of our honeymoon we chose the Chateau Tivoli for its history but what we most appreciated was the helpful attitude of staff, which made our stay and travel arrangements much easier.
Our room was a little small for the size of our luggage and the bathroom fittings (particularly the shower) had some awkward quirks but overall it was a charming place not too far from the waterfront and downtown."

"Beautifully updated and modernized while keeping features of its vintage architecture. Much attention to safety in the building and parking area. Nice gymnasium. We enjoyed our stay."

"The room was clean, staff was friendly, we were only there for one night and morning so we didn’t get a chance to use the amenities but the pool area looked nice too."
"Great hidden gem. Loved the history and the retro style as well as the parking. Super convenient and well maintained. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the windows for a little more sound dampening but on the good side, they do provide earplugs. Would recommend and will stay again"

Comfy and gorgeous rooms, gourmet and yummy breakfast, jacuzzi in a quiet garden, close to so many restaurants and shops in the Mission district, and the friendly staff and owner puts it over the top. Walking distance to a couple BART stations. You won't find a nicer stay."
"I'm not sure there's a better low-option budget in San Francisco. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Just be aware there is no AC, and my room got pretty buggy despite mild temps. I'd definitely stay again, but maybe bring in a window fan. Location is unbeatable, staff is incredible."
