"This is a working class neighborhood so don't expect fancy restaurants or multiple metro lines nearby.
In addition, the restaurant next door has live music on weekends deep into the night so this is not the place to be if your goal is to spend lots of time in the hotel room.
There are lots of cute coffee shops in the area. There is a street market that runs Thursdays and Sundays. 3 blocks away is the main street with more shops, restaurants and an even bigger street market.
The hotel staff are friendly but don't speak English so be prepared to learn some basic Spanish words & phrases ( cash, credit card, room, toilet paper, etc. ) to cover your stay."
