"First of all the beds were amazing! My only disappointment was the location of our room, maybe I missed it but the pictures showed an amazing view of the ocean and we were in a back corner. Parking is tough is you leave for the evening and come back, even the handicap was taken by a non-handicap vehicle. The proximity to the water and the shoreline trail were fabulous, of course we had amazing weather to go with it. Proximity to town is a bit of a hike, would definitely recommend an Uber in lieu of trying to drive and park or if your up for it a bit of a walk (not at night, no lights or sidewalks). Would absolutely recommend with the caveat you had a room with a view."

"The Inn is one of our favorite places in Carmel. Usually we have one of the better rooms but they were gone this time. The basic king bed room was small and the bathroom very small and poorly conceived with few surfaces on which to place things. A better room is a must for next time. Breakfast great and included. Parking very limited and must be reserved morning at 8 am day of arrival. $40!!"
