The room was clean and we liked the tile floor instead of carpeting. No ice machines were working and we were told ice was coming but it never did. Hallways and elevator very dirty. Chair and sheets had stains on them (permanent ink I believe). A no frills hotel, just for sleeping.
Overall a nice place to stay. Beds and bedding was nice. The room was clean, there was a place on the wall above the air conditioning unit where a drywall repair had been made and hadn’t been painted and finished. The shower, bathroom, and linen area was okay…shower water temp was struggling to keep up…I had the handle all the way in the hot and was “warm”-ish. The washcloths in particular had some staining on one of them….so there’s that. Again, was an overall decent place today. I’d go back if need be.
Room was clean, beds were comfortable, water was easy to control and hot enough. Water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly.
The hotel room was very clean! When we first walked into the hotel, however, I thought they were closed because it was so dark and when I said to the person behind the desk, it is so dark in here he never replied. When we got into our room, there was no air-conditioning on, so I guess they didn’t know we were coming and we turned it to a certain temperature and it never did get that cool. We tried to turn on the television and we turned it on with the button on the television not with the remote and we couldn’t get the volume to go down and the picture was glitchy almost the entire time and there weren’t any storm so we knew it wasn’t from that. In the morning when we went to breakfast, the area was very clean, however, the only food available that was hot was the waffles that we could make. When I got done making the waffles and tasted them. Something tasted terribly wrong. It almost tasted like it was raw or something. There were no hard boiled eggs, fruit or even peanut butter! The only other options were the bread products and one of the muffins I chose was so hard I didn’t keep it. We have stayed at many Quality Inns and this one by far was the most disappointing!
The front desk attendant was very friendly and kind. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and repairs to common areas as well as guest rooms. With good leadership, it could have potential!
