"It’s a very nice hotel with a quirky layout- thanks to being in a listed building. The staff are great, and the food very good. The only issue is parking; it’s a bit of a walk from the Jamaica Street car park, which can be tricky if you have a lot of luggage."
"Arrived late and the security guy was seated more concerned about his mobile than opening me the door, totally ignoring my presence by the shuttered glass door, only after starting to make a call, he decided to finally stop looking to his mobile and open the door for me to come in, absolutely surreal. Once in, I was welcomed by the receptionists, key was handed over and I finally reached my room, which was clean and comfy.
In the morning, the breakfast was outstanding, leveling with a 5 start hotel.
Left strait after. Everything could be amazing if wasn’t for the security guy. Useless."
"Such a unique hotel experience. The lobby is an amazing art gallery. Very funky, great thought provoking theme. The room/pod was everything you need and nothing wasted with a cool iPad controlling the mood climate and blinds.
Very satisfying experience."
"Carefully tended, well maintained and tastefully decorated hotel convenient to train station but very quiet. Helpful staff. One of the best breakfast buffets."
"Overall hotel was ok and did the job but was overpriced in my opinion.
Got locked out of our room and trailed up and down to reception 4 times before it was sorted. Got offered a free cocktail but as we were trying to go up to the room to bed it was wasted. Personally I have stayed in better hotels in Glasgow."
"We were given the wrong room twice. There aren't enough lifts so you have to wait. The mattress had blood stains on it. The breakfast buffet was not refilled quickly enough."
