I do wish they had breakfast (we've stayed in a motel with a to-go breakfast option on this trip). The area is a bit remote, and in shoulder season the closest food place was a 15-20 min drive. 「We had our dog with us, and were expecting a less than stellar room. We were pleasantly surprised, the room was fantastic! ALL of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We were hoping this was a chain hotel so we could stay there on further travels. Unfortunately, not a hotel chain, but we sure do recommend it highly. The dinner from the restaurant was excellent as well, priced reasonably too. I DO recommend this hotel, we would certainly stay there again.」

「No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me.」

「Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return」
