「The staff was excellent and helpful, they went out of their way to help us find transportation. Our sole visit to the area was to visit Il Giardino dei Tarocchi (Tarot Garden) and the hotel staff did everything they could do to help us have a wonderful visit, which we did. 「Accueil chaleureux dans un cadre exceptionnel, la vue sur la campagne toscane et le village de Capalbio est ressourçante. 「What a gem of a hotel. Fantastic service, super friendly staff and a highly personal experience. For us, one big draw was the eco friendliness of the hotel and the quality of the ingredients used throughout the hotel’s restaurant and even the room mini bar. The breakfast on the roof terrace is to die for. We will be back for sure. 」

「Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)」

「Il Pellicano is a dream. The property is stunning and exquisitely maintained. The views are breathtaking. The staff is most gracious. The perfect place for a peaceful and restorative getaway. We tried both dining options for dinner--the informal as well as the Michelin-starred dining room--and both were excellent. The latter was one of the best meals we've ever had anywhere, and we're serious food people who live in New York. We'll be back.」
