This place was very central, which is appreciated. But that comes with a downside if you stay on the weekend the noise from the square travels right into the room and it carried on Sunday night until two in the morning because people sit on the Square drinking. And the live music was on until midnight. In the week it wasn’t bad at all, but weekend was problematic. The staff seemed nice though because Ltd you’ve spoken it was hard to communicate on check-in. However, I appreciate my Italian is not good at all. They seemed friendly and helpful possible. The accommodation is pretty basic. Very clean and it is comfortable but I found it more basic that I was expecting from previous review so I just want to be honest. It’s in no way unpleasant and like I said, it’s right in the heart of everything that the town has to offer

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sole. The staff was welcoming and kind. The coffee delicious. Our room was clean and made up each day. The property is centrally located and easy to access. The owner spent time to help us book a vineyard tour and tasting. The tour and the wine did not disappoint. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Orbetello. We will be back!!

Wonderful location. Everything in Maremma is so close to Orbetello and Hotel Sole is in the center of it. We had a beautiful view overlooking the piazza with the lagoon in the back. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was nice and cold to get away from the summer heat. The hotel staff was so warm and welcoming and helpful during our stay, they even recommended a local driver who was fantastic. We still talk about the delicious cappuccinos that were made for us in the morning. Highly recommend!

Great location and wonderful staff, it is clean but definitely needs some updating. I could stay another night without a problem. Notes: you only get a sheet on the bed which was unusual and cold and the front desk is closed early in the morning but there is a side door to exit if needed… it took me an hour to figure out it wasn’t a fire exit lol.
