Had a fabulous time here during the Christmas break. The staff were helpful and very polite and friendly, rooms were spacious and clean , food selection was good but wish they had halal/ kosher. Due to an error in the reservation created by Expedia, the hotel charged me an additional amount for my child. I had entered my children’s details correctly at the time of booking. Despite this, the reservation reflected incorrect information, which the hotel refused to honor without additional payment. I contacted Expedia immediately and spent nearly two hours working with their support team, but the issue was not resolved. During this time, my family — including a one-year-old infant — was forced to wait in the hotel lobby without a room after a long journey. This situation was exhausting, stressful, and completely unacceptable. With no resolution from Expedia and no alternative offered, I had no choice but to pay the additional amount out of pocket simply to get a room for my family. This experience reflects a clear failure in booking accuracy and customer support.

We had a great time at Royal Solaris during Christmas. The property is clean, well kept and safe. Every room has a view of the sea or the bay. The staff are welcoming, hardworking and accommodating. The pool and beach are clean. The food was delectable and in great variety - hot buffet and chef stations cooking to order at every breakfast and dinner. We loved the inclusion of traditional Mexican food with every meal service. One night, there was even a raw bar at dinner. Food options by the pool were also very good and freshly made, including pizza, burgers and fries, tempura vegetables, sushi. This place also knows how to party - entertainment was daily ranging from a DJ, foam pool party, games, live rock cover band, to Santa meet and greet for kids. We liked the diverse visitor crowd too, including Latinos, Americans, Europeans, Asians, families with small kids, teens, older generation folks, and just couples. Would definitely recommend!

La mayoría de las cosas están excelentes, sin embargo hubo dos puntos que opacaron el resto de la experiencia. 1.El hotel no está preparado con una infraestructura para gente con discapacidad. 2. El hecho de que no haya infraestructura para gente con discapacidad uno esperaría mayor empatía del personal que si bien la mayoría se portó excelente y nos trató excelente, hubo una persona en el área del comedor que en lo particular tuvo una conducta prepotente y poco flexible debido a que se nos complicaba acceder al comedor, argumentando que para un buen trato de parte de ella era necesario que uno se levantara más "temprano" condicionado así la ayuda que necesitábamos.

Staff was courteous and always ready to assist, specially Luany who assisted us with information and anything that we needed. Thank you Luany. Food was good and varied. The specialty restaurants were good. Andres from pool entertainment was fun. Access to the beach was easy and had lots of chairs. Rooms were kept cleaned.

The rooms, staff and amenities was great. The beach was wonderful. However the food was not to our liking at all. We left the hotel to eat out because we couldn’t find anything we liked to eat at the hotel. In addition, the fact that we could only have 1 reservation per night to eat was crazy to me. So if I had a reservation at 6:30 and wanted to eat at another restaurant at 8:30 I couldnt do that.

The place had very welcoming staff everywhere, the kind that you can tell is genuine and not just in it for the tips. Food was okay, I’d say hit or miss. The Snack Bar was our favourite. Rooms are clean. Pools and beach were great, never had to fight for a beach/pool chair. It was a great first experience at an all-inclusive!

Everything was clean and well maintained. This was our 11th tine staying at the RS. We did notice tgat the drinks by the pool were not as good as before. They changed the pizza procedure to where you can't order what you want and guacamole was not available:(
