「This was a beautiful and convienient place to stay. It was small, but had everything we needed. It was in a wonderful, walkable area right near the Old Course. There were also complimentary snacks when we arrived. Wonderful stay! We would definately stay again.」

「We stayed during a day when it was somewhat warm and sunny out and that was a HUGE mistake! Me and my friend got major heat exhaustion and slept maybe 3 hours. We almost left in the middle of the night to find a park bench to sleep on. We requested a fan and they do not have enough for all rooms so we didn’t get one! The room is beyond unbearable hot!! The pub has great air conditioning and we stayed there until they closed it and then we went to our room and it was still extremely hot. In the...

「The Haar Rooms is a wonderful small inn. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. The included breakfast was excellent. And, it is very conveniently located a hundred yards or so from The Old Course and just a short walk to all of the restaurants, shops and historic sites in St. Andrews. It is also reasonably priced compared to the larger golf hotels nearby. I highly recommend it.」

「My second time staying. This time the sweet had a beautiful expanded and modern kitchen. However, virtually no dishes, pots or pans and no cutlery. Needless to say it was a beautiful kitchen, but not as much use except to keep things in the fridge. Manager should at least add some cutlery.」
