The staff was over the top! Great welcome, got a late checkout, made great restaurant recommendations, room was awesome, bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was spotless, and the refrigerator ice maker was great for fixing cocktails. I am excited to return!

Cleanest nicest hotel I’ve stayed in in a long time. Very polite staff also not something that has been. The norm for us the past few years when traveling to different hotels. The pool was very relaxing and enjoyable. Can’t say enough about how clean this place is. Definitely will come back if we stay this way again.

Check in was quick and easy. The stay was very comfortable (love the pillows!). Breakfast is good and has a nice variety of things to eat. Staff was helpful and kind.

Great hotel...great staff...I booked through Expedia, a wheelchair accessible room, and the hotel listened.
I was running late, driving from Delaware...called the hotel and Bonnie said no worries- room will be held.
Arrived- immediate check-in, room was clean, staff very helpful.
One of my friends said there is no elevator, but they had enough accessible rooms on the first level.
Public bathroom, eating area, lobby, hallways-- all clean, comfortable to be in.

I chose this place based upon the pictures and reviews. Upon pulling up to the house, a huge rainbow flag was festooned over the entrance. There was also rainbow (LGBT pride) items in the kitchen. The website makes no mention, at least that I saw, that it is an LGBT owned/friendly place, nor did any of the pictures show the flags, etc.
I don't mind what people do in the privacy of their own home, but running a B&B & pushing your sexuality on guests who may or may not approve is very...

If you're ever in the Roanoke area, this is THE place to stay. Beautiful log home, just off the Blue Ridge Pkwy., converted in to a B&B with large private rooms. Gorgeous setting and very quiet. The owners were wonderful and did everything possible to make sure I was made comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh by the owners while we enjoyed conversation sitting around the island. They make you feel like you're part of the family here. Believe me, you won't be disappointed with...
