"Had a lovely few days at the Dom Jose as a solo female visitor. I felt very comfortable sitting in the lounge in the evenings, particularly when there was live music. The breakfasts were great and the bar snacks were great value. I didn't have dinner.
I have two small criticisms regarding the room
1 Do people really need that enormous tv? A mirror over the dressing table would be more useful. Also a second chair is needed if there are two in the room.
2 Why is it so difficult to find out the Wifi code? I tried the one that comes up on the tv but of course it didn't work so i ended up going to reception in my pyjamas, only to be told the code was hidden in the key card wallet
Finally, I read somewhere online that hotel guests are charged a fee to use the hotel sunbeds on the hotel beach. This is not something i experienced personally as i was there in January, but i really hope it's not true as that would seem a very mean thing to do. Surely guests have paid.for the use of hotel facilities."
"Arrived early Sunday morning and greeted with a very warm welcome and our room wasn’t ready but advised we would be contacted as soon as it became available.
They went above and beyond our expectations and emailed to say that the room was ready
When we arrived back at check in they had upgraded our room.
Such friendly and help staff
Special mention for Celia the guest relations manager
Thank you so much for making it extra special
Looking forward to returning next year "
