The hotel and outside facilities were excellent. The hotel is very child friendly which as we were travelling as an older couple wasn't really what we were wanting. The hotel is in a good position for walking to the marina where there are loads of bars and restaurants and we did spend most evenings there rather than in the hotel.

The hotel and staff absolutely fantastic 5 stars. Be careful when booking through Expedia as we were charged an extra £104 per day for dinner to later find this is more than the hotel charges for buffet and only €40 euro credit was available for non buffet restaurants.

A beautiful hotel, great facilities and exceptional food. Lunch and cocktails in the bar, the buffet breakfasts and fine dining in Tropis were all delicious and not ridiculously priced. The staff literally couldn't do enough for us, from welcoming us, helping with luggage, booking activities and every interaction in between, everyone was very helpful, spoke beautiful English and made our trip very enjoyable.

Unfortunately the weather for the week we stayed was not very good, however, the hotel was fantastic. Our room was amazing (we were lucky enough to be updated to a suite). Breakfast was great and all the staff were lovely. Having the heated pool was a life saver with the cooler weather, and we enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The location is perfect with an easy walk straight out in to the marina or a short walk to a wonderful beach. We'd recommend to anyone thinking about taking a trip to portugal and might have a return visit in warmer weather! 😀

A lovely hotel; all the staff were efficient and friendly. We felt welcomed and valued as guests with water, wine and a fruit plate on arrival ( late night arrival). Sonia, the golf concierge, was superb; arranging golf booking but also answering all my questions about club hire etc… pre-arrival. She is an asset to the hotel. The grounds are wonderful and maintained well. Pools are clean with one heated. Location between beach and marina offers options for walks. Rooms clean, well equipped and with comfortable beds. So good we booked a return visit almost as soon as we were home.

Peaceful location close to the marina and beach. The staff were friendly & professional. Our room was spacious, had a wonderful view with large relaxing balcony, comfortable bed & pillows and good storage space (Room 359). There was plenty of choice at breakfast. We ate at the pool bar a few times, our favourites were the club sandwich & the pulled pork tacos. Would definitely return to stay at this hotel.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful Easter stay at Domes Lake Algarve Autograph Collection Hotel and were genuinely impressed throughout. From arrival, the reception team — Francisco, Miguel, Francisca and Nadia — were warm, professional and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with all staff providing friendly, attentive service, in particular Mona and Margarida alongside a great selection of food. We spent a lot of time at the pool bar and restaurant, where Helder, Pedro and Samuel created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere with excellent service. The beautiful Acosta beach restaurant was another standout, with Ricardo, Valdir, Paulo and Jessica delivering a superb dining experience in a stunning setting. What really stood out was the consistency — every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and a true asset to the Domes brand. Thank you to the whole team for such an enjoyable stay — we hope to return soon!

From the welcome on arrival until the moment we left, the staff were outstanding. Beautiful hotel and grounds, meticulously maintained. Comfortable room and excellent meals and calm, relaxing environment. We enjoyed a fabulous Christmas stay at the Domes Lake Algarve and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
