「What a hidden gem! Great price! It's an older hotel but the staff are very pleasant; there's a swimming pool; the rooms and the hotel are clean; bed is very comfortable; great hot breakfast. Why pay more to stay at the Deerfoot Inn! This hotel is literally within walking distance to the Deerfoot Inn and Casino but not in minus temperatures! 」

The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant - from Bharna when we checked in, to Shukiba who, without being asked, assisted us moving our luggage to the exit door and Dee, who was on the front desk when we checked out. The hotel room rate was excellent and was good value for what we received.」

「The room was a nice size and clean. Every staff member was wonderful. The only thing we would like to pass your way is that, even though each bed had 4 pillows, they all seemed to be hard on our necks when we laid down for the night. Maybe having different types of pillows...soft, medium, hard...would provide those wishing to stay at your Sandman Hotel and Suites in Calgary South with additional choices when it comes to comfort when trying to sleep.」

「The check-in was fast and we were offered free parking as the hotel was slow. No breakfast was included, but I would rather a lower rate than including breakfast that we might not eat due to other commitments. Our room was spacious. We have two kids that we like to keep in a separate space, out of eyesight, and this hotel had suits that would accommodate that.」
