「Fantastic stay only a short walk from Cardiff Main Station, Castle or City Center. Check-in with keyless code and key box. The whole accomodation has been renovated recently so everything is in very good condition. Highly recommendable」

「A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. 」

「The service was amazing, as was the amazing food and generous portions. The ambience was great too, including the music! The room was clean and cozy, and the velux windows were a lifesaver at night. Though the area can be a little noisy at night. Great location if you're planning to do the Four Waterfalls walk.」

「A lovely old building. At present having some work done on the roof. Scaffolding doesn't detract from the internal spaces or the lovely views across the Bristol channel. 」

「My husband and I spent ten days there in September 2015. The house-owner, Helen is very nice. Every day she kindly recommended some landmarks for us to visit. And she was willing to assist us. For those who are wishing to stay as a home-liked place, this hotel will be a good choice. The room was clean, there was someone responsible for cleaning your room every single day. 「 A beautiful property, lots of charm. A large room with lovely little details. A nice street in Chepstow too. Lots of amenities & extras, very helpful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. My only complaint is that I found the mattress was uncomfortable, I could feel the springs in places. 」

「The room was very comfortable, clean and had wonderful views of the mountains. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast was just superb. Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. 「A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was perfect - variety of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to choose from and the full English was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed if you stay 」

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」
