"It was okay. It appears that they’re still working through renovations. The pool was closed but appeared to have a new coat of paint. Building materials were still outside of it in the patio. The one elevator was broken. Our bathtub had a lamination or something over it that was ripped - and water was holding between it and the tub. It was fairly clean over all… just obviously amid repairs."

"This is one of the worst Hotels we have ever stayed at. The room didn't have enough light. The desk had a coffee maker on it, and no where to plug it in. The desk had NO light whatsoever. The rug was stained. The breakfast was horrible. Microwave your own egg, no meat, the coffee maker was out of order and no decaf coffee was provided. The drinking fountain was out of order and the pool was drained. I tripped on a rug in the main area because the edges were rolling up and while carrying stuff didn't see this hazard. The walls and ceiling were not insulated enough that every time the people upstairs flushed the toilet we thought the ceiling was caving in. The clerk acted like we were bothering her. we will NEVER stay here again."

"Unconventional because no front desk however communication on checking in, parking, building and room entry were great. Clean rooms with a keurig coffee machine. Short walk to a cute little downtown. Would stay again for sure."

"If you rent the cabins, don’t smoke inside. Bear Cave is beautiful but for that expensive of a trip I better be able to smoke where I want. Even on the front porch is fine."
