「We stayed here for two nights on a Brisbane to Melbourne trip. The staff were amazing and even able to accommodate us for an extra night when we had car troubles. Nice and close to the zoo, and far enough away from civilisation.」

「There are no veg/vegan options. Can't really count cereals and toast whilst others were having eggs, sausages and bacon. Requested in advance if they can make sauteed mushrooms and tomato but I was refused. This is something for the establishment to consider.」

「After having driven over 900 kms to checkin at the Across Motel, my Amex was declined although I was told it’s accepted which annoyed me. On checking into the room, all I wanted was a shower, but at best it could only be described as a dribble and very unsatisfying. The traffic noise was atrocious and I barely slept. I checked out at 3am, couldn’t sleep, mainly because of the noise and security light that flooded the room. Very underwhelming experience.」

「The only positive about this property was the location, which was convenient for getting around. Unfortunately, the room itself was not clean. I found blood stains on the bed sheets and pillowcase, which was very concerning, and there were baby cockroaches inside the fridge door. It was quite unhygienic and really put me off our stay. I wouldn’t recommend this property based on our experience」

「Waste of money. No list of amenities available. Reception always closed. You have to ring to get anything, including checking in. Thai restaurant no longer exists. It is 30 minute walk from cbd. Room was cold even with air con on. Lounge was hard and uncomfortable to sit on for more than a couple of minutes. Bathroom is tiny. No door on shower so water goes everywhere. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!」
