"At first I was a bit surprised at staying in the dark yellow painted, deep red curtained and darkwood themed Africa room (135) but it grew on me. The patio area was pretty dark though. Breakfast was great but no restaurant for an evening meal nor a bar which was a shame. "Historic hotel located at the edge of the old town. The rooms have been recently remodeled and ours was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good - better than most these days. Friendly host - many languages spoken & guests were from many lands. "
