Big and new is not always the best

Excellent stay, even that we came late in the evening to the hotel, they keept the kicthen open and we got an upgraded room. Super smiling staff. Can only recommend it.

Charming hotel, wonderful location

We had a pleasant time in this charming hotel. Excellent service, amazing breakfast, easy parking and a playground for our toddler. The only thing I would complain about is that the hotel has a bar with an outdoor area directly under some rooms. We got one of these rooms, and while the noise was not extreme, you could still hear people talking and smell cigarette smoke. We had our windows wide open (warm summer night) and found it a bit unpleasant. I think the hotel needs to re-think this layout or establish a non-smoking policy. Everything else was top-notch and would definitely return.

Godt sted uden stor service

The room was smaller than we expected and the welcome in the reception was not welcoming and helpful. Goslar is an old town with small streets and simulator old hotelbuldings and therefore it would be good if the staff had followed us to the room as it was difficult to find. The cleaning was standard. No access to a fridge and no air conditioning.

Charmerende Old time hotel

God stemning, dejlig morgenmad og fremragende senge. Eneste minus var at vi ikke fik det værelse, vi havde bestilt, fordi vi havde hund med og ikke alle rum var beregnet til hunde. Beskrivelsen på Hotels.com bør være mere præcis. Men vi kommer gerne igen for hotellet er virkelig hyggeligt og meget centralt beliggende

Tolle Tour

Einzig der letzte Schritt der Anreise war etwas mühsam, da selbst 25 Minuten vor der Ankunft nicht gesagt worden konnte, ob, und wenn, wo, ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung steht. Das Familienzimmer war toll! Sehr geräumig und komfortabel! Hervorzuheben ist aber sicherlich die zentrale Lage und ein geniales Frühstück. Es war kein riesiges Buffet, aber es war alles vorhanden, was man sich wünscht. Und das hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt!

Warum 4 Sterne?

Sehr alter Gebäudekomplex, was man überall merkt. Total verwinkelt. Wir hätten unser Zimmer ohne Hilfe nicht gefunden. Treppenhäuser sind in einem eher mäßigen Zustand - modrig. Nicht überall ein Fahrstuhl, was sicherlich dem Alter des Hauses geschuldet ist. Zimmer und Badezimmer sehr sauber. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist eher schlecht! Kein Kühlschrank bzw. Minibar.
