「Very clean, and staff friendly and very helpful 」

「We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. 」

「This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.」

「I had made a mistake when booking the room, i booked a 'snug'. With two Golden Retrievers - a big mistake. Management were great and found us an outside room that was more suited. Loved the staff, other customers and the people in general. Felt the history.」

「The only little complaint we had was the checking in process. We were told we’d get an email telling us how to check in which we never got. Also there seemed to be a difference between the info on hotels dot com and the places own website. But other than that, the room was lovely, well equipped, clean, comfortable.
