「Good value」

「Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience. We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. Upon speaking to the unbothered reception staff, it was discovered that the hotel once had air conditioning, but it had broken years ago and wouldn't be repaired. The room was stiflingly hot. 「We were warmly greeted on our arrival. Our room was very clean. The radiator was broken and they did warn us about that in advance. It was solved the next very next day. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options.」

「We loved our stay in Chipping Norton, the place was perfect size for our party of 3, great location, and ridiculously cute :) only wished we could have stayed longer.」

「good breakfast.」

「洗澡只有固定花灑，毛巾浴巾只有一套。」

「New hotel, everthing is brand new. Very clean and tidy. Very cost effective with the rate we paid for.」

「Staff was extremely helpful, loads of parking.」

「What can I say it’s a lovely experience to stay here big comfy bed, fluffy white towels and a absolute gem of a restaurant, it will always be my first choice when staying in the area to eat or sleep everything is 5*」

「Absolutely beautiful room.」

「I enjoyed my 3 night visit. I found the staff pleasant and the hotel a nice ambience. My room was a little tired but everything I needed. I will stay again. Great value for money.」

「We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Nice staff at the counter and restaurant. Thanks Jen. The dinner and breakfast were superb. Nice experience to stay at an old English pub-style B&B.」

「An old building and we had stayed just once before the current owners took on the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent prices for drinks both in the restaurant and bar. The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return.」

「A lovely place to stay, Sian is a great host and the breakfast very nice.」

「The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos.」
