"Our second visit and it’s already become our go to getaway. The rooms are beautiful and clean and stocked with tea coffee hot chocolate etc. lots of storage for clothing. Rooms include fan, hair dryer and ironing board. Bathroom has standard toiletries. The bar area is beautiful too. We haven’t eaten here but the food smelt amazing!!! "

"I stayed in a room above an old pub and wasn’t expecting much, but there were several issues. The room was quite dusty with a lot of cobwebs, the floor uneven, and the radiator couldn’t be turned off, which made it far too hot. I opened the window to cool it down, but it was directly above the courtyard where patrons were smoking and playing a noisy game throwing wooden sticks, so I had to close it again. The staff were friendly, though communication was minimal. I was simply shown to my room and told to call the number on the key if I needed anything. On the plus side, the room was large, the bed comfortable, and the WiFi surprisingly fast at around 60–70 Mbps. The smart TV was a good size and worked perfectly for watching streaming services. Overall, nice staff and good amenities, but the heat, dust, and noise made the stay less comfortable than expected."

"Could use a bit more out door lighting at night to not be in the pitch black and indicate an establishment is still there but otherwise was a very welcoming experience."
