"The 3rd floor hallway smells like dog urine pretty bad."

"The property is new and well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The bedroom was small with insufficient room for suitcases and there was only one suitcase rack. The bath was very large with much wasted space. IF the bath had a better layout the bedroom could easily have been larger and more comfortable. There was not a coffee maker or ice bucket which did not bother us, but it bothered our traveling companions in their room."

"I stayed at Saddlebrook Resort from May 27th to May 30th my experience was extremely disappointing. My first room (147) had live and dead insects, a dirty bathtub, and sticky carpet. I was so upset I told the front desk I planned to post the photos online, but *Samantha* handled the situation professionally, talked me down, and assured me the issues would be addressed and I would be compensated. I was moved to Room 301, which also had insects and spiders. A bellman removed them and checked the room. The room was next to the laundry and ice area, causing constant banging, loud conversations, and nonstop noise. The ice room itself looked as filthy as a gas‑station bathroom completely unacceptable for a resort claiming major renovations. Service issues continued. Valet ignored me, and I waited over an hour for pickup while golfers who weren’t even staying at the resort were prioritized. I was promised a $100 dinner credit that I never received. Breakfast wasn’t any better; I found ants on the dining table. Management was almost nonexistent. The manager briefly walked past me, asked if things were okay, and kept going. The assistant manager offered no help at all. The only positive part of my stay was the staff who actually cared: Samantha, Heaven, Donna at the GOAT Bar, Lynn in the dining room, the bellman who helped with the spiders, and the friendly grounds crew. Their professionalism was the only pleasantry. The resort failed to meet basic cleanliness, management standards!"

"Took 3 tries to open the door. Too tight at the top, but you could see through to the outside at the bottom. The electrical sockets did not hold plugs securely. There was missing paint and visible rust all over the bed frame. The bathroom looked fine at first, with a nice large tub. But they had screwed on a raised plate with holes, so you could not actually close the drain. Only usable as a shower. Could not even go into the lobby to check out in the morning. Had to pass the card through a slit in a window like they were expecting to be robbed at gunpoint."

"The room was clean but the TV did not work, the room phone did not work, there was no iron, and the area smelled like sewage even coming inside the room. The young lady was kind enough to offer another room to use the TV but it was late so we declined. I would not recommend this place nor would I stay there again. I booked it because it had a 8.8/10 rating on Expedia."

"PROPERTY IS LOCATED RIGHT OF MAIN INTERSTATE. STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. ROOMS WERE GOOD SIZE AND VERY CLEAN. FIRST FLOOR ROOMS HAVE A OUTSIDE AND INSIDE DOOR, BUT SECURE. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD WITH A VARIETY. THIS IS A OLDER BUT REMODEL 2 STORY HOTEL. YOU CAN AT NITE HEAR PEOPLE AT TIMES IN ADJOINING ROOMS AND IN HALLWAYS, LUCKILY THIS IS A MORE MATURE GUEST HOTEL. NO POOL. GOOD FOR A 1 NITE OR 2 NITE STAY."
