「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

「Great staff, friendly and happy to help. Stopped for work so just needed a nice bed and shower and they didn’t disappoint. Shower was great, clean room and bathroom. Nice strong shower for the early start. I ate in the restaurant and food was great. Good selection of beers and staff really nice Breakfast is well worth adding and set me up for the day. 」

「After a week on a river boat, we booked a night at Hartley House and thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt right at home and the hostess, Kate was remarkable in how she went above and beyond in order to meet our needs. This is the true Ireland in an old, historic house in a quiet country area. A very memorable stay with a wonderful big breakfast. 」

「There was a little confusion at check in about which rooms we had been assigned, but it was resolved quickly. The restaurant was not open for dinner on the night that we stayed at Clancy’s, but it was only a few km to find a place to eat. The rooms were very quiet and everything worked well. Breakfast was included and we requested to have it at 7:30. They were not able to accommodate that, but made it for 8:00 and it was excellent. 」
