We had booked a family room and we got two massive rooms together with a huge king size bed and two singles in the other room for the kids. Very clean and well presented. The Clayton was quiet, away from the noise of Sligo and very family oriented. We enjoyed the sauna, the restaurant/bar and the breakfasts were excellent. It’s slightly outdated and the rooms are small but well appointed. The staff was friendly and very helpful, parking was ample. Overall, we recommend especially if you have a car.

Clean room, friendly staff. A bit outside of town so that we needed to drive to a pub. But it was fun staying in a castle. I would have liked to have some info in the room about the history of the building. Maybe it was in the room and I missed it?
