"Second time staying at The Cliff Dweller and had late after hours arrival. Room keys, receipt and information were waiting for us on "late arrivals board". Room was clean and everything great! Beautiful view. Thank you."

"Don't allow previous reviews to worry you. We had a clean room, and a good bed for a solid night's rest. NO noise noted from other guests. Staff were very attentive, helpful and kind. Breakfast was continental and the breakfast area was very small, but there's plenty of food including protein. I wouldn't choose this inn for a long stay, but for a night or two, it's all you need. Oh, the lamp on one nightstand didn't work and I forgot to tell the staff. Toilets are very short, so it's a bit hard to get up. But that's not a big issue."

"We booked a 1 story villa. It was Very dog friendly, all the villas are on the lake, with direct views and easy access to the lake. Kitchen was very usable, it had most tools needed. the room is aged but cabin cozy. bedroom is a bit small. 8min to lutsen mountains and easy access to superior hiking trails.. very bike friendly area. I would stay again!"

"This facility function somewhere between a nice waterfront lodge and a bunk house. The rooms are great for sleeping, with nice temperature control, and nice bathrooms. They even have a small refrigerator. But there is no space to hang out in the room. This served as a great overnight spot before going into the boundary waters."

"The staff has been incredible in their willingness to help my emergency situation… They have provided a room for as long as I need, given me assistance with my vehicle and contents, and the breakfast offering is well presented, and very fresh and nourishing… I came under an emergency but would gladly come back and stay whenever the opportunity represented itself"
