"Smells moldy, after sending night there co worker and i could barely breathe"

"Property is beautiful with ample parking. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty! The Staff was always kind, courteous, and helpful. Whenever we are in Long Island, NY, we stay at the Hampton InnFarmingville, Brookhaven, NY. It is part of the Hilton Hotels, so we get good credit for other vacation spots using Hilton Hotels. "

"Great hotel if they have everything up and running. Relatively clean. Only one elevator was operational which was very inefficient. Casino was down during hours when it should’ve been open."

"The room was honestly the best part of our stay, big, clean, really comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The hotel overall looked clean, and every staff member we dealt with was genuinely nice and helpful, which always makes a difference. The breakfast, though, could definitely use some improvement. The selection was pretty limited, and the setup felt a little off. Things like the shared cream cheese and butter didn’t feel very sanitary. At one point, we saw a guest reach his bare hands into the bagel/bread area where the toast is, instead of using the tongs, which was honestly pretty gross. The hot food didn’t help much either, the sausage looked undercooked and everything had that greasy, been-sitting-there look. We also checked out the pool, but it didn’t seem very clean. There was a noticeable film on the surface, so we decided not to go in. Overall, we did have a good stay because the room was great and the staff was so kind. If the breakfast setup and pool maintenance were improved, this place would be a really solid stay all around."

"I lived on Long Island for most of my life and spent much time down port and always considered Danfords a place with high standards. My family had had our parties here and my employers have had their holiday parties here so I was very surprised to be disappointed when I booked my first stay here. I live out of state now and came back to see family and decided to stay at Danfords for the first time. After driving 12 hours, we were told our room was across the street in the G building, but that the building had no carts for luggage. I would have to go back across the street and bring one from the lobby. It's a bit of an inconvenience, but i shrugged it off. My mother and i walk into our room and it was rather filthy and smelled almost musty. Stains on the pillows, blankets, hair in the mini fridge, soap dispensers weren't refilled, and the chain to the balcony door was hanging off the hinges. The young man behind at the lobby did his best to accomodate me by moving our rooms and letting management know I wanted to talk the next morning. The new room was cleaner, but heavy scratching on the bathroom door and ripped carpets were adding to the disappointment. Management took off a $33 resort fee, but resort is a term that should be used loosely. I will probably not stay here again and hope the buildings and rooms get a much needed face lift in the future."

"This is a nice hotel. Rooms clean and well maintained. The Only problem was the night staff were not nice. I get it we walked in 15 minutes before kitchen closed and we ordered food that’s annoying but cmon we ordered a chicken sandwich and salad. Simple . It took forever to come out and ii sucked. HOWEVER the morning staff was pleasant and the breakfast while outrageously priced was good. So my advice is get to the is hotel early and eat out"
