"We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great. The breakfast was also good, with a lot of hot and cold breakfast options. We didn't get to use the pool, but it looked very nice, and the putting green and patio with grills are a cool touch. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for our family and it was great. Our teens were able to have their own beds, my husband and I had a separate bedroom with a king bed, and both rooms had their own bathroom. The bathroom off the room with double beds was very large. The kitchen and living area were convenient. The rooms were very clean. The wall paper in certain areas could use some tlc, and the lights outside of our windows were very bright at night, but the curtains did a good job of blocking it out. Bring an adapter for your tablet or computer if you want to watch anything good on TV, because they are not smart tvs and only have basic cable and HBO, and no guide to tell you what is on. Overall, we were very happy with our stay! It is an easy drive to Stony Brook U, so I'm sure we will be staying here again over the next 4 years when we come visit our daughter. "

"Pros: safe area, plenty of parking, relatively clean, nice amenities & dining options Cons: paper thin walls/loud guests, super slow elevator, clogged sink & shower drains, they only provide one washcloth at a time"

"Did not have hot water in shower for 2 days. Front staff was advised and said an engineer would be sent to the room. Nothing was fixed on the first night."

"I wasn't excepting much when I saw the photos of this hotel but I still booked. It was my first time here. The front desk staff, Nilsa, she provided awesome customer service. The room they gave was beautiful, compared to the ones on the photos. As for the rest of the hotel, very limited slot machines. The restaurant was not good at all. The cafe was not good either, their oven was bot working and were not serving any hot breakfast. So that was very disappointing. I will wait to come here again when they are done with their upcoming new renovations. "
