"Hotel needs a nice renovation"

"The Good: The sheets and towels were always fresh & clean, shower & hot water good. Parking excellent. Heat & A/C unit excellent. The Bad: This place is for anyone who only needs a shower and a bed. All 4 pillows on the bed rate the worst I have ever had around the entire world. I have no sense of smell, and I could smell stuff that I could not identify. No elevator which I was told up front so you have to climb a straight set of steps. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS HOTEL COULDN'T AFFORD TO PUT OUT SOME COFFEE IN THE LOBBY OR THE "NOT USED, FORMER" BREAKFAST AREA. There is no staff other than a person sitting behind a window. The Ugly: Our room was a complete mismatch of furnishings. The entire building (including our room) is very old looking and worn out. Our bathroom door would not close and has patched holes in it. The owner need not respond to me. I think you should be ashamed at how cheap and rundown this place is. Jeffrey Lynn & Wife 04/22/2026"

"Place was nice and clean. However shower pressure was low which really sucks.I received a charge of $250 for smoking😮I don’t smoke so I don’t know how I got that charged. I had a suit that has a stove and oven my kids added an aluminum pan that had butter and seafood . The room got smoky from that. They claimed they have a machine that detect smoke or vaping. I had questions, but no one contacted me to answer them. I’ve been waiting to hear from a supervisor or a manager no one called after I checked out. The day I check out the young lady at the front desk was very rude."

"Room dresser drawers would not close. Had to put the luggage stand in front of it. The closet back was coming apart. The bathroom had missing trim or tile behind the toilet."

"Gorgeous property, with excellent amenities. The restaurant on site was perfect for an evening dinner in a nice setting. Cute little market on site to grab coffees or quick bites and snacks. Pool was nice and warm, deepest point was 4 ft. so my son had a ton of fun using it and felt comfortable the entire time. Gym looked nice and there was a private movie theater with a current movie playing. Will definitely return when back in the area"

"We were surprised this is considered a 4 star hotel. It is in need of a renovation. The property appeared old and run down, the main elevators weren't working or were very slow. You could not drink the water unless you are an elite member. The duvet was in between 2 thin sheets and not between an actual duvet cover. The room was clean however, which is the most important thing to me. The staff was also kind. It is also very busy with events (weddings, dance competition, etc.)"
