The hotel is ok...I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the street, but they were full. A few issues with my stay included: the front desk allows a homeless man to sit on the couch and watch TV for hours in the evening. The man is not clean and smells really bad. When I first checked in, I had to wait for my room assignment and the front desk suggested I wait in the lobby. I naturally sat down on the couch in front of the counter and when I sat down I smelled this horrible filthy smell. It smelled like a rotten animal. I then moved to a different area of the lobby. Later that night when I went out to my vehicle I noticed a very unclean and unkept man sitting in the same spot on the couch. When I return 5 hours later, they same guy was sitting in the same spot and I realized that was the source of the smell that I had experienced during my check-in. While I appreciate the hotel empathizing with the man's condition, why don't you call social services and get him the help he needs vs allowing him to sit in your lobby for hours where there are little children and families all around? The other thing is I stayed on the 4th floor, and it took forever to get hot water to my shower. It seems the hotel doesn't have circulating hot water (which most hotels do) and thus you wait about 10 minutes for hot water to the room. The staff was very friendly. My room was clean. Lots of fresh towels in the bathroom. The homeless situation in the lobby needs fixing.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Waltham and had a very positive experience. The breakfast bar was noticeably better than what we’ve come to expect from most Best Western locations, with a good variety and quality options. One of the highlights of our stay was the Copper House Tavern connected to the lobby. It was quite busy, which is understandable given how good it is. The menu offered a wide selection, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We weren’t expecting this added bonus, but it was a great surprise and really enhanced our stay.

They only cleaned our room twice in 5 days. We let them know, and they said, so sorry 😔. We told them on the 1st night we didn't have hot water. The maintenance guy said he didn't know how to fix it. The room was worn and old. We asked them to bring us another blanket and the one they brought was absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend staying here. The manager Ruth was nice, and the kitchen staff were great. The breakfast was adequate and included which was nice.

Hotel was really dirty . Sign up that said tht they were under construction but def didn’t see any and def not in the area where our room was. The heater was o noisy we didn’t stay the doms night. I’m starting to wonder about Expedia’s hotels have not been having good luck lately!!

Hated this room. The hotel itself was fine, helpful staff, nice breakfast included, free parking. Location right off 95. The little snacks area was poorly stocked and very expensive but any port in a storm for that. The restaurant looked good and is attached, although we did not eat there it was very convenient. BUT here come the buts. What I really want from a hotel is a clean room, a comfortable bed and a good shower. The bathroom was not so clean, not terrible, but not great. More problematic, the mattress must have been very old. It had a big hump in the middle and was soft on the edges. I tried to sleep right in the middle but every time I turned over, I started to slide off the bed, almost landing on the floor a couple of times. And it wasn't comfortable. And the pillows were truly awful. They were hard and flat (again seemed really old with no fluff left) and I felt like I was setting my head on a brick. Really, really bad night's sleep. The hotel is starting renovations and maybe new bedding is part of it (as well as new bathroom fixtures)--hope so. In the meantime, I would stay away.

Despite the on-going renovation, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Exercise room has a Peloton bike, which my husband used daily. One negative is that we could hear neighbors nightly. The corners of the bathroom and door at floor level need replacing.

The breakfast was buffet-style and exceeded my expectations. The staff in the dining area were highly attentive—they replenished the food promptly and were consistently kind and professional. I especially appreciated the variety of options, including both hot and cold dishes, as well as the selection of five different fruits and fresh yogurt. The room was also very comfortable. The bedding was clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained, which made for a pleasant stay overall. However, the main reason I chose this hotel was for the pool, and this aspect was disappointing. For a hotel at this price point, not being able to use the pool significantly reduces its value. The pool was already closed when I checked in around 5–6 PM, and it remained inaccessible the following morning. There was no clear notice or announcement regarding the closure. It would have been appropriate for hotel management or the front desk to post an official notice explaining the situation. Instead, I had to repeatedly try my room key on the access pad, which was confusing and inconvenient. When I asked the front desk for an explanation, the response was vague—they simply mentioned it might be due to maintenance, without providing any clear details or prior notice. Aside from this issue, my stay was very satisfying. However, given that the pool advertisement in the hotel main picturewas a key factor in my booking decision, I believe a partial refund or some form of compensation would be reasonable.
