「The room was excellent with a huge bathroom. All staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was extremely good value and very tasty. In fact I would definitely recommend the place, for anyone visiting Bombay Sapphire, as we did. Overton is a very friendly and interesting little village. 」

We’d just arrived to drop off our luggage and the gentleman at the front desk offered to take our luggage to the room as we were crunched for time. A cab was waiting to take us to Highclere. 「A really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast.
